Weigh In: Week #3

DISCOURAGEMENT AT ITS WORST!

I weighed in on Tuesday and I was down to 212.6! I was so excited. But that is also the day I made the decision to go off the drops. I didn't go out and buy a bag of m&m's and start eating junk food. I started doing the weight watchers diet. Well this morning I stepped on the scales and I am up to 216. UGH

The good news is I just joined Anytime Fitness and am headed out the door for a workout.

  1. Don't get too discouraged. I'm sure it's just a rebound effect from going off the drops. You've done weight watchers and know that it works. Just do what you did before. It may not be as fast of a process, but at least you know it will work and you will be healthy! Don't give up.

  2. I agree with Justin, those drops (or the diet) obviously did something weird to your body, so it is just your body's way of trying to get back to normal. We are here for ya!! Keep it up!

  3. My dear Sister, you have done this before and you can do it again...I know you can. You and I are at the same stage of life as you are aware of "empty nesters". Sometimes that can be a lonely time and so it has helped me to always have you to call and cry, vent, laugh etc. So this is my thought....I really need you. So you & I need to keep ourselves strong and Healthy for each other and for our families and we need to take that girls trip.....keep going. You CAN do this. :) Hugs

  4. I'm very excited to hear how things at the gym go. You went off the drops and started weight watchers but did you increase your activity level? That could explain a gain. Stand up, brush it off and get ready for a great week this week. As far as exercise choose whatever doesn't bother your knees. If you start having knee problems see if they have a trainer at the gym you can work with a few times to get some ideas. I love you and just like everyone else, know that you can do this.
